Life Tips With Life Coach : Nina Ganguli

Q:  Hi Nina, for the most part, I’ve had a pretty good life, some ups and downs but nothing devastating.  I have a normal, simple life.  I look around and it seems that everyone is doing all these extraordinary things and I’m not sure if my life is enough.  Should I be doing more?

A: Should you be doing more? Do you want to be doing more? This is a question of deep reflection.   From what you asked, it looks like that you are comparing your life against other people’s lives.    If the measurement of should you be doing more is coming from a place of, my life seems so normal and simple compared to those other people then I say no you shouldn’t be doing more, if you are indeed content and happy with the way things are.  However if what you are witnessing is stirring a need to change your life, evolve or transform it , to add excitement or make it extraordinary for you then I say go for it.  And if you are going to go for it then I would recommend thinking about a way in which you can give back and serve others.  It doesn’t have to be something grandiose, it could be as simple as going through the house, organizing your things and donating to those less fortunate than yourself.  That’s extraordinary because so much of our used items end up in a landfill unnecessarily.  That seemingly small simple gesture has a large rippling effect!

The simple fact that you are pondering if you should be doing more and wrote in is extraordinary!     I hope this has given you a place to start your reflections.

It’s my honour to serve you! God bless!
