Q: I know I need a Life Coach but I just can’t afford it. Why is Life Coaching so expensive?
This is a complex question with no easy answer.
The first thing is that cost is subjective, what may be expensive for you right now, may not be so for someone else. So let’s get that out of the way.
Secondly, since I am justifying pricing, one must understand what value a coach provides against the investment that is made. I would pose a question back to you. How valuable would the coaching be for your life? To achieve the clarity, direction, goals and overall happiness, what would you be willing to invest for those things and can you really put a price on that? Listen I get that many people think coaching is a nice to have, but if you know you need one, then this now becomes a must have.
Pricing will vary from coach to coach and is affected by experience, education and expertise. What you’re willing to pay will be determined by your budget, your desire and your perceived return on investment, which in my biased opinion is priceless.
Here’s my final thought, if you knew for sure that at the end of your time with a life coach, your life would be changed for the better, what price would you put on that? What would you be willing to sacrifice in the short run? It’s really about considering the short term pain for the long term gain. Do you need to give up that daily latte, or maybe a few nights out on the town, or maybe eat in more? And if it’s still not feasible, then become creative, challenge yourself because it’s your life and you’re worth it aren’t you?
It’s my honour to serve you! God Bless!
