Prince William showing up at an ex-girlfriend’s wedding could be a royal pain for the groom.
The Duke of Cambridge is already in Africa for the weekend, so he’s planning to go from official business to the nuptials.
He’s meeting with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta “to deepen relations between the two countries on a broad range of topics including defense and security, and conservation,” according to a statement from Kensington Palace.
From there, he will travel to the wedding of his former flame, Jessica Craig, to Professor Jonathan Baillie.
The wedding will take place on Baillie’s 55,000-acre family wildlife sanctuary, which is the country’s oldest.
Kenya’s vast savannas are home to millions of wildebeest, elephants, lions, zebras and many other animals which draw tourists from all over the world.
Baillie is an expert in endangered species.
Some reports wondered if the duke’s meeting with the president was a bit of a ploy just so he could attend the wedding.
Prince William, 33, second in line to the throne, has been friends with Craig, who’s known as Jecca, for many years.
They were an item during his gap year.
Craig, 34, attended his fairytale wedding to Kate Middleton five years ago.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge is home with the kids. The prince will miss Princess Charlotte’s first Easter.
